The beauty of the landscape caused artists to flock to Bucks County in the early part of the last century.  The sleepy river town of New Hope began to grow and evolved into a versatile "melting pot" of personalities where "difference" is revered and respected.  Framed by the Delaware River and the old Easton Canal, New Hope's broad scenery ranges from fishing boats which dot the water, to duck ponds and deer-filled woodlands, to horse farms on the outskirts of the hills, which blaze with color in the Fall.
Activities in our area include camping, rafting, canoeing, horseback riding, golfing, and tennis.  Special events include the New Hope Antique Car Show, Winter Festival, New Hope Art Show, Shad Festival, and the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Of course, they are all in addition to the legendary shops, galleries, and antiques of New Hope, Peddler's Village, and our "sister city" across the
Delaware River, Lambertville, NJ.
